Job Description
Summary:

This role is ideal for a scientifically minded sales professional who combines strong relationship-building skills with a passion for supporting the life sciences industry. As a Regional Sales Manager you will drive territory growth by developing new business opportunities and expanding existing customer relationships across academic biotechnology pharmaceutical and industrial markets. The ideal candidate possesses a strong scientific foundation excellent communication skills and the ability to independently manage a regional sales territory while serving as a trusted advisor to customers.

What You’ll Do:
  • Drive territory sales growth and achieve revenue targets for the biochemistry product portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with academic institutions biotechnology companies pharmaceutical organizations and industrial customers.
  • Conduct regular customer visits presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding products pricing availability and technical information.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand existing customer accounts.
  • Collect and analyze market intelligence competitor activity and customer feedback.
  • Attend scientific conferences trade shows exhibitions and industry networking events.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support customer satisfaction order fulfillment and marketing initiatives.
Experience You’ll Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry Organic Chemistry Biochemistry Pharmaceutical Sciences or related scientific discipline is required.
  • Experience within the chemical biochemistry biotechnology pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
  • Proven customer-facing experience in scientific sales business development technical support or account management.
  • Strong presentation communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel throughout assigned territory.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline.
  • Fluent English communication skills both written and verbal.
Requirement: Must be based in New England region preferably in Boston MA
