UIG is currently seeking a Regional Operations Manager - SE Region to oversee production quality control personnel and safety at all production sites within the specified region. Extensive travel about 50-75% of the time is required within the region as well as occasional trips to the corporate office in Bethlehem PA and vendor/customer facilities. This position has 24/7 on-call responsibility.

• Provide direct leadership to Plant Managers at supporting facilities and indirect leadership to Assistant Plant Managers I&E Specialists and Plant Operators.
• Ensure that safety is a core value for all team members by promoting a safe work environment and safe work practices through leading by example.

• Maintain strict compliance with all safety health environmental and quality regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
• Manage production rates qualify parameters on-stream performance and efficiency at supporting facilities.
• Manage FDA compliance programs to ensure that plants are operated and maintained in a cGMP compliant atmosphere.

• 10 years of leadership experience including 5 years of ASU experience.
• Previous experience with building high performance teams. Leading multiple sites/locations is a plus.
• Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and operational best practices.
• Experience with various software systems used at an ASU.
• A general understanding of and experience with instrumentation electrical and control systems.
• Solid business acumen with an understanding of the general accounting techniques and financial implications.
• Willingness to travel 50-75% of the time.

• Engineering degree (Chemical Electrical Mechanical preferred).
• Experience with commissioning/start-up activities.
• Certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
• Auditing experience.
