VOA Oklahoma is currently seeking an experienced strategic and people-focused Regional Housing Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate is a proven multi-site housing leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment excels at developing high-performing teams and possesses deep expertise in affordable housing compliance financial management asset preservation and resident satisfaction.

What Youll Do

As the Regional Housing Manager you may manage 17 housing communities and provide leadership to 10 Community Administrators who may supervise and support employees at each property site. You will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence financial performance regulatory compliance team development and outstanding resident experiences across your assigned region.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Recruit hire mentor and develop Community Administrators and site teams.
  • Build a culture of accountability engagement collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct coaching performance evaluations succession planning and employee development activities.
  • Identify emerging leaders and cultivate future talent within the organization.
  • Partner closely with Human Resources to support workforce planning and talent management initiatives.

Property & Operations Management

  • Provide strategic oversight and operational leadership for a multi-site housing portfolio.
  • Conduct regular site visits and property reviews to ensure compliance asset preservation and operational excellence.
  • Monitor occupancy leasing performance resident services maintenance operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure all properties meet owner investor lender regulatory and VOAOK standards.
  • Implement and oversee emergency preparedness and resident safety programs.

Financial Leadership

  • Develop and manage property and regional budgets.
  • Analyze financial statements forecasts cash flow reports and operational metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and financial performance.
  • Develop action plans to address significant variances in revenue expenses or occupancy.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Maintain compliance with affordable housing programs including:
    • LIHTC
    • HOME
    • HUD 202
    • Bond-financed housing
    • Conventional housing programs
  • Ensure adherence to all local state and federal regulations.
  • Oversee accurate and timely completion of required reports audits and administrative functions.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with residents owners investors regulators community partners and service providers.
  • Utilize resident and stakeholder feedback to enhance service delivery and operational effectiveness.
  • Support business growth initiatives and contribute to organizational strategic planning



Qualifications

What You Will Bring:

Bachelors degree plus five years in a directly related field OR seven years directly related transferable experience OR a combination of education and experience.

Experience must include the following:

  • Five years of supervision and five years of multi-site operations experience.
  • Strong knowledge of property management including related financial statements computer systems / software regulatory programs marketing and leasing programs physical asset knowledge LIHTC HOME HUD 202 Bond and Conventional financed occupancy related programs.
  • Commitment to the development of social service programs as they relate to senior special needs and multi-family housing communities.

Professional Certificates Licenses Registrations:

COS (Certified Occupancy Specialist)

HCCP (Housing Credit Certified Professional)

HOME Certification

LIHTC Certification (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Certification)
