Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated results-driven Regional Business Manager to lead commercial growth and market development across a multi-state territory within a growing Oncology division.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in medical device sales experience working within hospital systems and procedural environments and a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth develop strategic relationships and execute territory business plans.

Candidates should reside within or near the assigned territory with convenient access to a major airport and the ability to travel extensively throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive regional revenue growth by developing and executing strategic business plans to achieve and exceed sales objectives.

  • Identify develop and expand relationships with key healthcare decision-makers including physicians clinical stakeholders hospital administrators and purchasing teams.

  • Build strong relationships within oncology interventional surgical and hospital-based procedural environments.

  • Identify new business opportunities while expanding utilization and market penetration within existing accounts.

  • Navigate complex hospital sales processes including value analysis committees contracting purchasing and reimbursement considerations.

  • Develop relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and clinical champions to support adoption and long-term account growth.

  • Partner cross-functionally with clinical marketing and commercial teams to support customer engagement and strategic initiatives.

  • Maintain a strong understanding of competitive market dynamics regional opportunities and evolving healthcare trends.

  • Manage territory forecasting pipeline development account prioritization and business performance.

  • Represent the organization professionally at customer meetings regional conferences and industry events.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant experience.

  • 5 years of successful medical device healthcare or related sales experience.

  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas and driving territory growth.

  • Experience navigating complex hospital systems and building relationships with physicians and key decision-makers.

  • Strong business acumen strategic account management skills and ability to manage a large geographic territory.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate across internal teams.

  • Excellent communication presentation negotiation and relationship-building skills.

  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned region.

Preferred:

  • Experience within oncology interventional radiology surgical specialties or other procedure-driven medical device markets.

  • Established relationships within hospitals health systems and physician networks throughout the Midwest.

  • Experience introducing innovative medical technologies and driving adoption in competitive markets.

  • Familiarity with capital equipment procedural sales and complex clinical selling environments.

  • Experience working with multidisciplinary clinical teams and C-suite stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated success growing underdeveloped territories or expanding market share.
