Job Description

The primary purpose is to recruit prospective students through management of an assigned market recruitment area. Recruitment responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: high school visits career fairs community presentations special events and assisting in other outreach activities as assigned. The Regional Admissions Counselor will reside in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area with occasional travel to the campus for trainings and events as needed. Extensive day-time travel within the assigned territory is required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree plus one year of professional experience in a related field or two years of professional experience or an equivalent combination of post-secondary training education and/or professional experience.
  • Excellent oral written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Public presentation skills
  • Valid drivers license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior full-time or undergraduate work study experience in a university admissions office.
  • Prior experience working remotely
  • Familiar with Twin Cities Metro area specifically the high schools and Community Based Organizations in that area.
  • Experience of working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool Slate or other sales-related software.
  • Knowledge of higher education and experience working with prospective college students.
