About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the 27SOFSS - Information Ticket and Tours Office. Please note this is subject to random drug testing. This position is flex.



Duties

Assists in the operation of the Information Ticket and Tour (ITT) Program which services military members civilian employees and visitors to Cannon AFB and Clovis/Portales area. Provides a variety of travel advice and information to customers involving various types of events accommodations and schedules. Procures secures and accounts for all tickets and monies associated with the program. Maintains a daily and monthly inventory. Assists in planning and coordinating the details of one-time special and recurring tours. Responsible for change funds daily inventory ($10000) ordering and receiving ticket and contacting vendors to get promotional materials. Performs other related duties as assigned. Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays for ITT trips and programs.

In order to qualify you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g. Peace Corps AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g. professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience:
Must have responsible experience which demonstrates the ability to perform satisfactorily at the grade level of the position. Must have general knowledge of the surrounding area. Must have knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. A practical knowledge of the travel tour and hospitality industry and knowledge of recreational actives rules and procedures is highly desirable. Experience with accounts payable is highly desirable. Must be able to read write and speak English fluently. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier One Security Investigation with Inquiries. Must have a current and valid drivers license. This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.

by the supervisor.
