This position is located at Fort Lee VA and can be filled throughout NAF MWR: (The Gregg-Adams Club TenStrike Bowling Center Cardinal Golf Club Sports Physical Fitness Centers Arts and Crafts Auto crafts etc)

Duties

Issues tools equipment and games to authorized customers. Checks identification collects fees when appropriate and completes appropriate documentation. Receives returned items inspecting for obvious damage and missing parts.
In a recreation facility assists in directing patrons scheduling the use of courts lanes and equipment. Participates in and directs games and social events.
In arts and crafts programs demonstrates simple party rooms and maintains the cleanliness of assigned work areas.
Checks inventories and supplies. Provides facility and program information to patrons. Assists with simple repair and maintenance.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Conditions of employment

Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Must be able to work during the hours of operation to include nights and weekends.
The dual compensation guidelines DO NOT apply to this position. All GS and NAF employees whether fulltime or part time are eligible to apply for this position.
Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3 para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.

This job is open to candidates who who reside within a 30-mile radius of Fort Lee. (Military Spouses moving to the area within 30 days from the closing date of this announcement and Involuntarily Separated Military (ISM) members claiming ISM Preference are included in this area of consideration.)

Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Governments interest.

Allowances and Differentials:

This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
Non-foreign overseas allowances cost of living (COLA) and differentials will not be paid contingent upon eligibility.
