Job Summary
This position is located at DLA Columbus in Whitehall Ohio.

- Incentives will not be paid.
- Serves as a Facility Aid in a Fitness Facility. Works under the direction of the Facility Manager.
- Assists the Facility Manager in the overall operation of a fitness facility. Circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory: provides information and general instruction on the use of equipment facilities and machinery.
- Assists in setting up for instructors contractors events athletic activities and related functions. Performs facility cleanliness and/or monitors contracts.
- Assists with publicity of programs and events and assists with the delivery and placement of posters flyers and other promotional material.
- Issues/receives equipment to authorized users. Monitors fitness equipment condition; tracks maintenance and repair or replacement as appropriate. Cleans and performs minor maintenance on facility equipment.
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3 para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
- Must possess the following within 6 months of employment: MWR Orientation Course Customer Service.

- This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
