Anderson Universitys Office of the Registrar invites applications for a full-time 35 hours per week position as Records Coordinator. Reporting to the Associate Registrar the Records Coordinator will perform comprehensive administrative functions within the undergraduate (traditional/non-traditional) and graduate programs related to the Office of the Registrar serving as a central resource for faculty staff and students for student records and processes. With an emphasis on excellent customer service and personal attention this position will have direct contact with students and parents in answering questions and addressing concerns and will ensure all services are performed hospitably in an overarching effort to meet and maintain the universitys goals.
As a key member of the Office of the Registrar this position will skillfully collaborate with other departments to ensure all federal state and university policies and procedures involving student records are upheld.
Job responsibilities include:
Processing requests such as changes of grades change of majors course add/drop course substitutions and withdrawals.
Working with and auditing a caseload of students from various colleges within the university as they progress to degree completion.
Cooperatively assist with planning and communicating commencement and graduation activities ordering and packaging diplomas and other graduation supplies as needed.
Assist with transfer credit evaluation and processing.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge equivalent to that gained through a bachelors degree combined with at least two years of experience in a Registrars Office in a university or college setting is preferred. Ability to work on multiple software systems such as Workday Student as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is preferred. The ability to read analyze and interpret government regulations and general business publications is required in addition to the ability to understand institutional policies and procedures FERPA or other federal and state regulations. A warm and friendly disposition excellent organizational oral and written communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality of student information is essential.
