What Youll Do

As a Receiving Clerk youll play an important role in safely and efficiently receiving documenting and storing materials by:

• Receiving inspecting and verifying incoming shipments for accuracy quality and completeness.
• Identifying damaged incorrect or non-conforming materials and assisting with resolving discrepancies.
• Documenting and recording received materials including lot numbers quantities and condition.
• Maintaining organized and accurate inventory records in accordance with company policies.
• Safely operating material handling equipment such as forklifts clamp trucks pallet jacks and carts.
• Performing daily pre-operation equipment inspections and promptly reporting mechanical issues.
• Following all safety procedures OSHA guidelines and company policies.
• Providing guidance and support to team members by sharing best practices and ensuring adherence to procedures.
• Assisting with onboarding and training new team members.
• Collaborating with production shipping and inventory teams to ensure timely processing and storage.
• Suggesting improvements to receiving processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

• Has a high school diploma or GED.
• Has strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
• Can provide guidance and support to team members in a collaborative manner.
• Has effective communication and organizational skills.
• Has basic math and record-keeping skills.
• Can work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Is dependable safety-focused and takes pride in accurate work.
• Works well with others and has a positive attitude.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Significant experience in receiving warehouse or inventory operations.
• Experience operating forklifts clamp trucks or other powered material handling equipment.
• Additional education or relevant certifications.

Physical & Work Environment

This is an active hands-on role that includes:

• Lifting carrying pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds.
• Sitting standing bending and moving throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
• Using visual acuity and spatial awareness for safe material handling.
• Working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment with moving equipment noise and varying temperatures.
• Wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Following safe work practices while working with a supportive team.
