Job Description

As a PNC Intern you willparticipatein a best-in-class internship program. During this 10-week program you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a specific line of business expand the tools you need to launch your career and complement your education with real-world job experience.

We delivertimelyexecution of real estatestrategymaking space available when and where the customer needs it. Finally we must be accessible toall ofour constituencies with seamless communication systems and organizational clarity.

Interns willparticipateinoneor twoof thefollowingareas:

  • CorporateWorkplace

  • The Corporate Workplace groupis responsible forthe portfolio-wide spaceutilizationstrategy focusing on long-termobjectives execution and implementation of approvedstrategyand tactical planning decisions.

  • Design and Construction

  • TheDesign & Constructionteamis responsible forall construction projects such as renovation and new work that is undertaken at all PNCmajor buildings retail branchesand affiliate buildings. This group directs the activities of design professionals general contractors construction managers internal servicepartnersand other vendors.

  • Operations

  • The Operations groupis responsible forday-to-day management of facilities and mechanical support. The teamis responsible forproperty and project management building safety disaster remediation workordersand asset preservation. Additionally sub-teams include Guest Services ADA/Compliance as well as MechanicalEngineeringand Plumbing (MEP).

  • Project Management Office (PMO)

  • RealtyServicesProject Management Office (PMO) ensures successful delivery of real estate initiatives across the organization.

  • Real Estate Development

  • Realty Services Real Estate Development team leadsthe site selection and acquisition of newbranchreal estate.

  • Risk and Governance

  • Risk and Governance isa centralized team thatiscomprisedof several sub-segments servicing key Realty Services needs whilemaintaininga moderate risk profile. Sub-segmentsinclude:Risk& Compliance VendorManagementProcurementProject Financials Environmental ServicesEnergy &Sustainability and Enterprise Real Estate Project Management.)

  • Transactions

  • The Transactionsspecializesin portfolio management siteselection contract negotiation disposition acquisition payments lease audit reconciliationabstractionand leasing. They manage all building and land transactions for owned and leased retail and major building properties where PNC serves as both tenant and landlord.The Realty Services Summer Internship Programis located inPittsburgh.

  • Working towardBachelors Degree Preferred business relevant majors (e.g. Finance Accounting IT Economics Marketing Math Statistics HR Management Communications Business Law Psychology Logistics Engineering Computer Science Actuarial Sciences)sophomore or junior status Minimum GPA 3.0

Participatesas an intern in the PNC summer internship program.

  • Performs orassistthe core activities of the group by applying knowledge learned to drive business results (e.g.deal sales or process support internal or external customer interaction or supporting internal projects). Works undersupervision andmay have limited approval and/or exception authority.

  • Participates in social learning within the organization (e.g.identifiesand networks with business representatives and peersparticipatesin mentoring jobshadowingand community outreach).
