Location:This is a fully on-site position in Tonawanda NY offering the opportunity to collaborate closely with the real estate and legal team in a professional small-office environment.

Note:Prior real estate title abstracting experience is required. Candidates must have at least 1 year of directly relevant title abstracting experience.

Job Description

• Conduct thorough title searches using county municipal and online public records.
• Research deeds mortgages liens judgments easements tax records and other recorded property documents.
• Compile complete organized and accurate title search packages for examination.
• Verify chains of title and identify documents affecting property ownership.
• Obtain copies of recorded documents and supporting records as needed.
• Communicate with county offices municipalities and other agencies to obtain required information.
• Maintain organized and accurate search records and complete assignments within established deadlines.
• Work closely with title examiners attorneys lenders and real estate professionals throughout the transaction process.
• Research and resolve gaps or inconsistencies in property records to support efficient title examination.

Qualifications

• 1 year of real estate title abstracting experience.
• Familiarity with public land records and title searching procedures.
• Strong understanding of real estate transactions and title-related documents.
• Experience researching deeds mortgages liens judgments easements and tax records.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong research communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency with computers and online public record search platforms.
• Must be able to work on-site in Tonawanda NY.
