Location: Wilmington Delaware. This is primarily an on-site opportunity with meaningful flexibility for hybrid arrangements depending on the candidates location and circumstances along with occasional remote-work flexibility.

Note: Candidates must have 2 years of directly relevant commercial real estate transactional experience including acquisitions financing and leasing transactions. Excellent drafting written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Job Description

  • Handle sophisticated commercial real estate acquisitions dispositions financing and leasing transactions.
  • Draft review negotiate and revise purchase agreements leases financing documents and other commercial real estate agreements.
  • Counsel clients throughout the lifecycle of complex real estate transactions and help identify practical solutions to business and legal issues.
  • Coordinate transaction strategy documentation negotiations due diligence and closing activities.
  • Work closely with attorneys across the firms transactional and business practices on matters involving overlapping corporate and real estate issues.
  • Develop trusted client relationships and take increasing ownership of matters and transactions.
  • Contribute to the continued growth of the real estate practice with the potential to assume significant leadership responsibility over time.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of commercial real estate transactional law experience.
  • Experience with acquisitions financing and commercial leasing.
  • Excellent contract drafting review and negotiation skills.
  • JD and active attorney license in good standing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative team-oriented approach with strong client-service instincts.
  • Law firm in-house and solo practice backgrounds are welcome.

  • Year-end bonus is additional to base salary. Client indicated bonuses can be significant and cited a $50000 bonus paid to one particular associate.
