The University of Washington Information School is recruiting graduate students for the LIS 520 A/B hourlyReader/Grader position. Qualifications are based on prior course work skill level experience and schedule availability.

LIS 520: Concepts Services and Issues for Information Professionals

• LIS 520 A Lecture: M/W 10:30 am - 12:20 pm
• LIS 520 B Lecture: T/Th 8:30 am - 10:20 am

This position will work a maximum of 10hours per week.

Responsibilities may include some or all the following duties:

• Prepare and grade exams and papers
• Maintain grading records
• Manage and respond to course related email
• Attend instructor/employee meetings
• Attend lectures and office hours
• Review literature
• Reader/Graders may not perform teaching duties.

Pay: $23.81 - $25.48 per hour based on experience.

• Graduate students enrolled in a minimum of 5 credits at the University of Washington Seattle as of Autumn 2026
• Strong interest and ability to work with students having diverse skill levels.
• Prior completion of LIS 520with strong performance or demonstrated proficiency in the course content.
