JOB SUMMARY

As a React Developer you are responsible for building modern scalable and high-performing user-facing web applications. You thrive in fast-paced environments where you can create seamless intuitive experiences for external users at scale. You bring deep expertise in React and TypeScript along with a strong foundation in overall web development principles and best practices. You are comfortable working with APIs and collaborating closely with backend teams to deliver robust end-to-end solutions. Experience with Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance concepts allows you to quickly ramp up and contribute meaningful insights to the product.

React Developer Day-to-Day

• Develop and maintain high-volume external-facing web applications using React and TypeScript ensuring a seamless and consistent user experience across devices and browsers.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers to integrate APIs validate data flows and ensure optimal application performance and responsiveness.
• Build reusable scalable UI components while following modern front-end architecture patterns and coding best practices.
• Optimize applications for speed performance accessibility and cross-browser compatibility in high-traffic environments.
• Participate in design discussions code reviews and testing efforts to maintain high-quality standards and consistency.
• Work within Azure-hosted environments aligning front-end solutions with cloud-based architectures and data models.
• Translate business and insurance (P&C) requirements into intuitive user-friendly interfaces that meet both functional and performance goals.

React Developer Skills & Experience

• 12 years of overall web development experience with a strong focus on modern front-end technologies.
• 5 years of hands-on experience with React and TypeScript in production environments.
• Proven experience building external-facing high-traffic web applications with strong performance considerations.
• Solid understanding of API integration asynchronous data handling and RESTful services.
• Familiarity with Azure environments and foundational knowledge of data modeling concepts.
• Understanding Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance concepts is highly preferred for faster onboarding.
• Demonstrated ability to ramp up quickly adapt to evolving requirements and deliver high-quality solutions in fast-paced settings.
