Job Summary
In this role you will bridge the gap between theoretical concept and real-world deployment. You wont just be following processes; you will be the technical engine behind proving the feasibility of new technologies that keep the power grid efficient and secure. From initial design and rapid prototyping to rigorous testing and cost-optimization analysis you will play a critical role in bringing high-impact power solutions to market.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conceptual or theoretical activities that deals with the study/research and application of electricity electronics and electromagnetismfor Power Capacitors and Instrument Transformers.
- Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical disciplinefor power capacitors and instruments transformers. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
- In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own -depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
- Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
- A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills with some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering/Technology (or equivalent) OR a high school diploma/GED with 6 years of relevant industry experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of advanced experience in Electrical Engineering is required

- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Ability to document plan market and execute programs.
- Established project management skills.
- Experience on performing FEA on electromagnetic fields.
- Electrical testing knowledge.
