What You Will Do
Design develop and verify mechanical components for medical devices under supervision.
Assist in prototyping and bench testing to verify and validate design concepts and performance.
Support root cause analysis and resolve technical challenges using data-driven approaches aligned with product requirements.
Conduct research and feasibility studies to inform product design decisions.
Translate customer needs into actionable design inputs that guide development.
Understand product use and clinical procedures to inform design strategy.
Create and refine engineering documentation in compliance with design control procedures.
Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D Quality Manufacturing Regulatory Clinical Marketing and Project Management teams.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Engineering Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering.
0 years of work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Internship experience or related coursework in Engineering Mechanical Engineering Material Science Engineering or Biomedical Engineering.
Medical device industry exposure through an internship co-op capstone project or relevant academic experience.
Exposure to technical documentation and the development execution or support of test methods.
Fundamental understanding of mechanical engineering practices and tools.
Basic knowledge of design principles and standards within a regulated environment (ISO13485 and ISO10555).
Familiarity with CAD or CAE modeling tools (e.g. SolidWorks Creo).
United States of America Pay Ranges:
- US15: $79900 - $127500 USD Annual
