R&D Chemist Digital Ink

This role offers a starting range of $77000 to $90000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications such as experience education certifications and skills as well as geographic considerations.

As an R&D Chemist you will be responsible for:

• Troubleshooting issues with existing technologies as well as customer challenges
• Developing new inkjet technologies based on customer needs
• Evaluating raw materials and optimize formulations for cost-savings opportunities
• Providing technical support to manufacturing
• Publishing project reports & other documents direct to sales & customers
• Maintaining laboratory equipment

Qualifications :

To perform your job as expected you will be required to:

• Have a Bachelors degree in Chemistry or equivalent
• Have 5 years of inkjet ink formulation experience
• Knowledge of inkjet printing processes
• Demonstrate strong Math and Science skills
• Be Proficient with record-keeping
• Have good and effective written reading comprehension and verbal skills
• Be able to interpret data and draw effective conclusions

In addition to these qualifications we will consider as a plus if you have:

• Dispersion development experience
• SAP experience
• Knowledge & experience with UV curing processes and formulations
