Job Summary (Basic Functions): LG Chem Advance Materials Inc. (LGCTA) is actively searching for a Raw material / MRO Procurement Specialist to join our team in Clarksville TN. The Raw material / MRO Procurement Specialist will be an individual contributor reporting to the Procurement team and be responsible for assisting sourcing new vendors and expediting to acquire Raw material or MRO product.

This position is based full time in Clarksville TN and is not a remote role.

What Youll Be Doing

Essential Functions (include but are not limited to):

Administrative:

• Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements
• Request for Quotation (RFQ).
• Support Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE).
• Create Commercial Bid Evaluation (CBE) with detailed price analysis.
• Renew the contract if a Change Order occurs.
• Control shipping documents(BL / IV / PL) from partners and managing payment for partners.
• Source quality suppliers and complete bidding process total cost of ownership perspective.
• Drive supplier capability enhancement through strategic support and development programs.
• Track supplier production schedule aligned facility requirement. If necessary realign and expedite suppliers schedule as needed.
• Procure the MRO material and maintain stock amount Manage receipt shipment and settlement for MRO material.
• Report sourcing / procurement status for management group and stakeholders.

Negotiation Skills:

• Develop and negotiate vendor contracts to ensure favorable terms and pricing for the company.
• Resolve discrepancies and invoice problems.
• Requires persistent and continuous work to address supply chain challenges.

Quality Focus:

• Research and identify prospective new equipment suppliers.
• Liaison with internal project teams and maintaining strong supplier relations.
• Evaluate products and suppliers according to key business criteria.
• Ensure all contract are based upon and meet standards.
• Manage huge data based upon consistency and integrity

Data Analysis

• Prepare reports and maintain accurate inventory and procurement records.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns

Education: Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university is required.

Qualifications Skills and Experience: What Were Looking For

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in Raw material procurement. Proficiency in international trade regulations and the handling of chemical substance imports and exports.
• 3years of experience leveraging strong negotiating and influencing skills with Raw / MRO material.
• Experience in Battery Battery Materials or Chemical Industry is a plus.
• Working knowledge and understanding of an ERP system. (SAP experience preferred)

Preferred Qualification/What Wed Like to See:

• Excellent communication skills: verbal written and presentation
• Proficiency in the use of PC and Microsoft Office suite (Microsoft Excel Power Point Word etc.)
• Excellent analytical ability to effectively analyze production data.
• Experience working with global company.
