Job Summary
Radiology Technician
Fairfax VA
Pay From: $30 per hour
MUST:
2 years of experience as a Radiology Technician
Minimum of one or two years of clinical experience
ARRT required
BLS required
C-ARM Experience preferred
DUTIES:
Prepare patients for radiology procedures
Operate radiology equipment to make clinical diagnostic x-ray images as directed by physicians
Use image-Gently equipped X-Ray which reduces the amount of radiation used on children
Review specific procedure orders to determine materials/supplies that will be needed
Set up and stocks procedure rooms and trays with needed
Document patient concerns patient messages and care provided to the patient in the patients medical record for the physicians review
Sterilize and package surgical instruments
Assist with inventory ordering of supplies and re-stocking of supplies
