Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Radiation Oncologist you will be instrumental in expanding our cutting-edge radiation oncology program in Grass Valley CA. You will provide expert clinical care offering advanced treatment options and playing a pivotal role in the continued success and development of our department.

You will utilize a comprehensive range of state-of-the-art radiation technologies deliver exceptional patient care and foster strong relationships with referring providers and your team. Your leadership will guide staff ensuring a positive and collaborative environment focused on optimal patient outcomes.

To be successful in this role you will be a BE/BC Radiation Oncologist with excellent clinical skills a collaborative spirit and a passion for utilizing advanced techniques to deliver precision radiation treatment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert full-time radiation oncology services utilizing advanced technologies such as AlignRT Brachytherapy Calypso 4D localization IGRT IMRT RapidArc Radiotherapy SRS and SBRT.
  • Lead the expansion and development of the radiation oncology program contributing to strategic growth and innovation.
  • Cultivate strong collaborative relationships with referring physicians and participate actively in tumor boards.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to staff fostering a positive and highly functional clinical environment.

Job Requirements

Required:

  • Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
  • Active or eligible license in the state of California
  • Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of caring for radiation oncology patients

Preferred:

  • Leadership experience
  • 3 years of experience in Radiation Oncology
