Job Summary

Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rack Level Integration Engineer to play a pivotal role in the end-to-end validation and integration of Photonic Fabric and all components within advanced AI compute racks. This position is critical to ensuring seamless interoperability performance and reliability across complex systems including servers accelerators networking switches optical backplanes power shelves and cooling solutions. The ideal candidate will lead technical execution across multidisciplinary projects drive innovation in rack-level integration and ensure that all systems meet rigorous performance efficiency and scalability standards. You will be at the forefront of next-generation AI infrastructure development working closely with engineering program management and cross-functional teams to deliver robust production-ready rack solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design development and implementation of technical solutions for complex multi-domain integration projects
  • Integrate rack-level optical interconnects and ensure full compatibility across all hardware and software components
  • Perform end-to-end validation and qualification of complete AI compute rack systems verifying performance reliability and efficiency
  • Configure and manage smart PDUs (Power Distribution Units) to optimize power delivery and monitoring within the rack
  • Implement and maintain rack-level management functions including real-time monitoring control and automation of critical components
  • Execute hands-on lab racking and stacking of high-complexity high-touch rack configurations
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all integration activities test procedures and system configurations
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including design engineers program managers customers and vendors


Requirements

Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field with 35 years of relevant experience; or Masters degree and/or PhD in a related engineering discipline with 23 years of experience; or equivalent professional experience in lieu of formal education
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in rack-level integration within high-performance computing or AI infrastructure environments
  • In-depth knowledge of AI compute rack architectures and the functional integration of servers accelerators switches power cooling and optical interconnects
  • Strong understanding of rack-level management systems including monitoring control and automation best practices
  • Proficiency in Mechanical and Thermal CAD tools for system design and analysis
  • Proven track record in testing qualifying and validating rack-level solutions to meet or exceed performance and reliability benchmarks
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to technical challenges
Preferred
  • Experience with rack-level optical interconnects
