Quantum Scientist Quantum Error Correction Theorist

Required Qualifications

• PhD in Quantum Computing Physics Computer Science Mathematics Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Expertise in quantum error correction and a strong foundation in quantum computing
• Research contributions in QEC demonstrated through publications or software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work across disciplines
• Scientific programming skills in Python C or a comparable language

• Design of fault-tolerant logical operations or estimates of their resource requirements
• Circuit-level QEC simulation noise modeling and logical error benchmarking
• Experimental collaboration or QEC implementation on hardware especially neutral atoms
• High-performance or real-time decoder development in software or hardware
• High-performance computing or machine learning applied to QEC

The approximate base salary range for this position is $130400 - $211900.

We consistently monitor external market data and update base salary ranges accordingly. We determine base compensation decisions on several factors including as geographic placement role-specific knowledge skills and/or addition to our base salary offerings we also provide equity grants for all new hires.
