The Quality Systems Supervisor is responsible for supervising and maintaining the organizations Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with customer requirements industry standards and company policies. This position leads quality system activities internal and external audits corrective action programs document control processes and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting operational excellence and customer satisfaction. This summary is consistent with both internal quality-system roles and external quality-systems benchmarks. Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS). Ensure compliance with applicable standards such as IATF 16949 ISO 9001 customer-specific requirements and company procedures. Plan conduct and support internal customer and third-party audits. Lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities including root cause analysis and effectiveness verification. Manage document control processes work instructions procedures and quality records. Monitor quality metrics and recommend improvements based on data analysis. Coordinate management review activities and quality reporting. Support launch activities change management and process validation efforts. Train employees on quality system requirements and procedures. Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering Operations and Supplier Quality teams to resolve quality issues.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Quality Manufacturing or a related technical field preferred.
- 5 years of experience in quality assurance quality systems or manufacturing quality.
- Experience with automotive quality standards preferred (IATF 16949 APQP PPAP FMEA SPC MSA 8D).
- Knowledge of auditing methods and quality management systems.
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and quality improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality management software.
