Responsible for maintaining and improving the organizations quality management system in alignment with IATF 16949 AIAG standards and (CSR) customer-specific requirements. This role ensures compliance through document control engineering documentation management customer interface support and continuous improvement initiatives across quality systems and processes.Job Description:
Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 AIAG standards and Customer Specific Requirements (CSR)
Cascade CSR Regulatory and other initiatives into Plant QMS
Lead and support CQI (e.g. CQI-9) assessment compliance and readiness
Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS)
Support internal and external audits (certification bodies and customers)
Manage and maintain engineering quality documents including; Control Plans and PFMEA (Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis)
Oversee Engineering Change Requests (ECR) process and documentation updates
Oversee Document Change Requests (DCR) process and documentation updates
Ensure revisions are accurate controlled and distributed appropriately
Control and distribute all quality and engineering documentation
Maintain document revision control approval workflows and archiving
Manage systems such as: PMMES / GQS system
Ensure documentation is audit-ready and accessible
Act as a primary interface for customer portals
Submit and manage: IMDS/MDS (Material Data System) entries
Ensure timely and accurate completion of customer-required documentation
Interpret and implement customer-specific requirements
Maintain Layered Process Audit (LPA) system: Update audit content Track compliance and completion
Identify gaps and drive corrective actions for compliance issues
Support continuous improvement initiatives across quality systems
Maintain organized filing systems (electronic and physical)
Ensure traceability and accessibility of quality records
Support data reporting and compliance tracking
Provides administrative support to departments to ensure alignment with evolving organizational standards and operational requirements.

Required Skills and Education
Bachelors degree in engineering Quality or related field
37 years in automotive quality systems or compliance role
Experience with IATF 16949 and AIAG methodologies required
