Job Summary
The Quality Manager supports the organizations efforts to maintain and improve product and process quality. This role oversees the Quality Control and Assurance teams helps align operations with industry standards and contributes to ongoing improvement initiatives. The position also assists in shaping technical direction and responding to market needs.

Lead and develop a team of Quality Control and Quality Assurance professionals to meet organizational quality objectives and drive continuous improvement.
Shape and direct the technical strategy to support market expansion and product development initiatives.
Contribute to business strategy and policy development across the organization.
Facilitate decision-making processes related to business planning and critical operational matters.
Develop strategic plans for product service technical or production capabilities aligned with long-term business goals.
Identify emerging market needs and define effective strategies to address them.
Apply Six Sigma methodologies to enhance process efficiency and product quality.
Leverage experience in the metals industry or heavy manufacturing to inform quality practices.
Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex quality issues.
Develop implement and maintain QMS including AS9100/ISO 9001 standards for aluminum production.
Act as the voice of the customer resolving quality issues and conducting audits.
Manage vendor quality including auditing and Corrective Action Requests (CARs).
