Job Summary

Summary:

Own and continually improve Business Unitâs quality/business management and safety systems

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

âInternal expert/resource on all quality and safety systems implemented
âSupport monitor and continually improve all quality and safety systems
âOversee all quality & safety audits maintain records of the audit and coordinate response/closure to findings
âQuality representative for contract review process
âContinually monitor training system and records
âMaintain monitor and report on performance against Quality Objectives
âCoordinate the Management Review process
âOwn and continually improve compliance with all OSHA requirements
âComplete form 300/300A and post as required annually
âMonitor all safety issues identifying root cause and elimination of the risk
âSupport HR in the completion of Workman Comp claims
âTrain all employees on quality & safety procedures & monitor performance
âSupport a safety oriented culture within the company
âParticipate in the development of the companyâs strategic planning vision mission and values and desired culture
âProvide good feedback and promote good communication
âAbide by and support all safety and quality system requirements

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience:
âBachelor degree or equivalent previous experience preferred

Language Skills:
âAbility to read analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers regulatory agencies or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management public groups and/or boards of directors.

Reasoning Ability:
âAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form.

Computer Skills:
â Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel Outlook)
