Pay Rate/Range:$18-19/hr

Description:Based in Wichita KS the Quality Inspector will perform essential job functions associated with heat treatment under the direction of the Quality Manager to meet customer specifications including assisting other employees as needed. The Quality Inspector performs hardness and other tests calibration of testing equipment audits weekly probes surveys etc. as needed. Additionally the Quality Inspector is responsible for reporting any deviations problems or irregularities to supervisors or management immediately ensuring orders meet requirements.

Job Requirements:

• This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements; therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holder.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge and some hands-on experience of computer applications including Microsoft Office and databases is required
• Minimum one to three years in heat treating industry or related field is preferred
• Experience interpreting blueprints and basic knowledge of commercial aerospace and heat treating equipment preferred

Job Type: Contract to Hire

Shift/Schedule: Monday-Thursday 9:00pm-7:30am. Will initially train on 1^st shift Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm.
