Quality Inspector 1st shift M-F 7am-4pm

The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing moderately complex dimensional inspection of standard parts units or materials to ensure conformance with specifications utilizing various measuring and testing equipment. This includes quality inspections for incoming inspections in process inspections and final responsibilitiesPerform process audits per defined control plans and react to various gauging devices to measure inspect and test product to ensure conformance with engineering drawing specifications and other material/finished good inspection results using quality software Excel or inspection results with product stakeholders and follow non-conformance procedures for product containment and in problem solving work area in a clean and orderly condition complying with established6S other duties as required within the nature and level of QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent and one (1) year of related work experience are be able to read write speak and understand basic in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook and PowerPoint) and quality control timemanagement attention to detail and multitasking skills in a fastpaced to problemsolve and make decisions per work instructions and to communicate with team members through verbal and written to demonstrate basic math skills and use/test measuring equipment including but not limited to micrometers calipers dial indicators gauges Rockwell hardness tester optical comparator and templates torque testing machine gauge pins and blocks and metallurgical equipment such as wet saws grinders and sample mounting Demand RequirementsDISCLAIMER: This position may include exposure to radio frequencies that may be dangerous to individuals with a pacemaker consult with your required to stand walk or sit; use hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop kneel crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell.
