This position will support the Quality Engineering group typically working as an assignee on smaller scale Quality Engineering projects or tasks related to larger scale Quality Engineering projects.

The tasks/projects performed by this individual will typically be monitored or managed by a Sr/Quality Engineer.

Specific Responsibilities will be project based. All responsibilities below may not be encompassed over the duration of the Co-Ops term.

• Engineering Change Notice Reviews & Actions Auditing.
• Writing work instructions and compliance surveys.
• Creating quality alerts
• Performing validation tests.
• Additional duties as assigned.

• Enrolled in an applicable engineering program and in good standing with the university/college.
• At a minimum completed 1 year is engineering program.
• Ability to adapt quickly and positively to changing priorities and processes.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Strong communication written and verbal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to ask clarifying questions when necessary.
• Fluent in Microsoft product suite

• General understanding and applicability of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing
• General knowledge of CAD and SolidWorks.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or 13485 and/or FDA Part 820

The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated range is $22.00 - $28.00 per hour.
