We are hiring an experienced Quality Engineer to support a growing aerospace manufacturing operation with responsibility across Manufacturing Quality Supplier Quality and Customer Quality. This role requires experience with AS9100 manufacturing process validation root cause analysis corrective and preventive action (CAPA) process control supplier quality and continuous improvement to improve product conformity process capability and overall quality performance.

This role supports Operations Engineering Supply Chain customers and suppliers throughout the manufacturing lifecycle with opportunities to cross-train across multiple quality engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day Quality Engineering support to manufacturing operations to ensure product conformity process control and compliance with quality requirements.
• Lead root cause investigations corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support Manufacturing Quality Supplier Quality and Customer Quality activities based on business needs with opportunities to cross-train across all three disciplines.
• Develop and maintain inspection instructions control plans process validation documentation and quality records.
• Analyze manufacturing and quality data to identify trends reduce defects and improve process capability.
• Partner with customers and suppliers to investigate quality issues implement corrective actions and improve quality performance.
• Support internal and external audits and maintain compliance with AS9100 and customer quality requirements.
• Drive supplier accountability and delegated source inspection initiatives to improve material flow and reduce receiving inspection requirements.

Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
• Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with manufacturing process validation corrective action root cause analysis and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AS9100 quality management systems; ISO 9001 experience is also valued.
• Experience with AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) particularly for Supplier Quality assignments.
• Experience with GD&T PPAP process capability (Cpk) FMEA Lean Six Sigma and/or Lead Auditor practices.
• Quality Engineering experience in aerospace defense automotive medical device semiconductor or another highly regulated manufacturing environment.
