Job Summary
A leading precision manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead its 1st shift inspection role is responsible for overseeing all inspection activities ensuring compliance with quality standards and driving continuous improvement across the department.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support a team of quality inspectors on 1st shift
Oversee incoming in-process and final inspections
Ensure compliance with customer regulatory and internal quality standards (AS9100 experience preferred)
Review and approve inspection reports first article inspections (FAIs) and non-conformance documentation
Coordinate with production engineering and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes
Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
Train mentor and develop inspection personnel
Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
3 years of experience in a quality leadership or supervisory role
Strong background in inspection within a precision machining or aerospace environment
Familiarity with GD&T blueprints and inspection tools (CMM experience a plus)
Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO quality systems
Strong communicationand leadership skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
