A leading precision manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead its 1st shift inspection role is responsible for overseeing all inspection activities ensuring compliance with quality standards and driving continuous improvement across the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support a team of quality inspectors on 1st shift

• Oversee incoming in-process and final inspections

• Ensure compliance with customer regulatory and internal quality standards (AS9100 experience preferred)

• Review and approve inspection reports first article inspections (FAIs) and non-conformance documentation

• Coordinate with production engineering and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes

• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)

• Train mentor and develop inspection personnel

• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in a quality leadership or supervisory role

• Strong background in inspection within a precision machining or aerospace environment

• Familiarity with GD&T blueprints and inspection tools (CMM experience a plus)

• Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO quality systems

• Strong communicationand leadership skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
