PositionSummary:
TheQualityCoordinatorsupportsthecompanysqualitymanagementsystem(QMS).
KeyResponsibilities:
- MaintainandupdatequalitydocumentationincludingSOPsworkinstructionsformsandtrainingmaterials.
- Supportinternalauditsbypreparingschedulesgatheringdocumentationandassistingauditors.
- Monitornonconformingmaterialreports(NCRs)correctiveactions(CAPAs)andfollow-upactivitiestoensuretimelyclosure.
- Coordinatesupplierqualityissuesandworkwiththeprocurementteamtogatherdataordocumentationasneeded.
- Assistinrootcauseanalysisandproblem-solvingsessions.
- Trackqualitymetricsandprepareweekly/monthlyreportsforleadership.
- Supporttraininginitiativesrelatedtoqualityprocessesandprocedures.
- EnsurecompliancewithISOstandardsorotherindustry-specificqualityrequirements.
- Participateincontinuousimprovementprojectsfocusedonsafetyqualityandefficiency.
- Serveasaliaisonbetweenproductionengineeringoperationsandqualityleadership.
RequiredQualifications:
- Associatedegreeorequivalentrelevantexperience;bachelorsdegreepreferred.
- 13yearsofexperienceinqualityassurancequalitycontrolmanufacturingorrelatedareas.
- ISO9001:2015expertise
- Internalauditingskills-planningconductingreportingandfollowinguponaudits;familiaritywithauditchecklistsandsampling.
- Documentcontrol&compliance:Managingproceduresworkinstructionsrecordsandrevisioncontrol.
- Corrective/PreventiveActions(CAPA):Rootcauseanalysis8Dandeffectivenessverification.
- Communication&diplomacy:Abilitytointerviewauditeesexplainfindingsandinfluencewithoutauthority.
- Strongattentiontodetailandorganizationalskills.
- Strongwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills.
- Travel-Able to travel to other Midwest locations 4 times a year.
- Must be able to work out of the Whitestown IN facility Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm when not traveling.
Nicetohavebutnotrequired:
-ISO9001InternalAuditorCertification (Lead Auditor is a strong plus for supplier audits).
Familiarity with riskassessmenttools (FMEA SWOT) and processKPIs.
-PPAPexperience: Ability to review and support Production Part Approval Process documentation and submissions
-Food/bev: GMPHACCP
-Medical: ISO 13485 FDA21CFR820.
