Job Summary


A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As a Quality Control Specialist at MKS you will partner with cross-functional teams including Engineering Operations Sales internal teams suppliers and customers to help ensure quality standards are maintained throughout our processes and this role you will support day-to-day quality activities production needs and continuous improvement initiatives. You will report to the Sr. Quality Manager.

You Will Make an Impact By:
  • Conducting routine process audits
  • Supporting MRB disposition activities in collaboration with Buyers Operations and Supplier Quality
  • Supporting and maintaining calibration systems
  • Working closely with Manufacturing (Tech Ops) to support daily production needs
  • Participating in Gemba Walks and maintaining Gemba action items
  • Supporting quality initiatives and continuous improvement activities across cross-functional teams
  • Travel Requirements: Up to 15% travel is required
Skills You Bring:
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of related experience
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Knowledge of process audits
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
  • Perform activities such as sitting standing or typing for extended periods of time
  • Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination
  • Occasionally moves/positions objects up to 20 lbs.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for 40% of the time
  • Regularly requires manual dexterity and coordination of objects below at and above shoulder level
  • Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information
  • Operates in a professional office and/or laboratory/manufacturing environment
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
  • Ability to observe documents and details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)
  • Dedication to safety to mitigate hazards including handling mechanical and electrical hardware high voltage gas water and heat
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually average

This position is onsite and candidates must live within commutable distance to our locations in Wilmington or Methuen MA. Relocation benefits are not available for this position.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary Pay Range: $88425 - $125000 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position based on a wide range of factors including qualifications experience and training operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.

Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in an amount to be determined by MKS as applicable.
