Position Summary
The Quality Manageris responsible forleading andmaintainingthe organizations Quality Management System (QMS) ensuring compliance with customer industry and regulatory requirements. This position provides strategic and operational leadership for quality assurance activities drives continuous improvement initiatives and serves as the final authority for quality-related decisions affecting product release and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead andmaintainthe Quality Management System to ensure compliance with applicable customer regulatory and industry standards.
Direct internal and external audit activities corrective and preventive action programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
Establish andmaintaininspection methods quality procedures certifications and calibration programs.
Serve as the final authority for product and service releasein accordance withestablished quality requirements.
Lead mentor and develop quality personnel while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Review quality documentation production records and customer requirements to ensure compliance prior to product shipment.
Manage supplier quality programs including qualification monitoring and performance improvement activities.
Analyze quality metrics and trends toidentifyopportunities for process improvement and risk reduction.
Partner with operations engineering and customer-facing teams to resolve quality issues and improve overall performance.
Ensure compliance with applicable safety environmental and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering Quality Manufacturing ora relatedtechnical field.
10 years of progressive quality engineering or manufacturing experience including leadership responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems auditing practices and continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience leading customer regulatory and certification audits.
Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma or other process improvement certification preferred.
Demonstrated success in root cause analysis problem solving and corrective action implementation.
Strong leadership communication project management and organizational skills.
Proficiencywith Microsoft Office applications and quality-related reporting tools.
Preferred Experience
Experience within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Background working with complex production processes and customer-specific quality requirements.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive measurable improvements in quality efficiency and customer satisfaction.
