What You Will Do

As a Quality Assurance Intern you will play a critical role in supporting the Inspection organization to enhance processes and ensure product conformance. This position provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in quality assurance while contributing to impactful projects that drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Assist in refining and organizing receiving inspection checklists and product conformance information.
• Collaborate with suppliers to align inspection methodologies.
• Develop workflows for the sign-off process of inspection documentation.
• Support the implementation and risk mitigation of an automated calibration system for mechanical calibration.
• Participate in the hard launch of new quality assurance systems and tools.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Inspection organization.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Actively pursuing a Bachelors or advanced degree in Quality Mechanical Industrial Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline and enrolled through the completion of the internship.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications including Word Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Exposure to quality assurance processes or methodologies.
• Understanding of calibration systems or inspection workflows.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37000 USD - 82000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
