Local area manufacturer seeking experienced Quality Assurance Inspector. The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for supporting quality assurance process development verification and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization. This position evaluates manufacturing processes maintains and improves quality documentation supports ISO compliance and serves as a key contributor to the New Product Introduction (NPI) process.

The QA Technician also performs product and raw material inspections validates Bills of Materials (BOMs) assists with supplier and internal quality specifications and works with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improved process capability efficiency and quality.

Essential Responsibilities

Analyze verify and improve manufacturing processes to identify capability efficiency and quality gaps.

Review existing processes and make recommendations based on documented findings and data.

Develop generate and revise process flow charts procedures work instructions and other quality documentation.

Conduct routine documentation audits and make revisions as necessary to maintain accuracy and compliance.

Ensure business processes are properly documented and flowcharted at all applicable levels of the organization.

Support ISO Facilitator responsibilities including maintaining documentation and assisting with compliance activities and audits.

Serve as a key member of the New Product Introduction (NPI) process.

Validate and revise Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure accuracy and alignment with manufacturing requirements.

Inspect products and raw materials prior to receiving and acceptance.

Assist in developing Item Purchase Descriptions (Supplier Specifications).

Assist in developing and maintaining internal Quality Assurance specifications.

Identify quality issues and assist with investigations corrective actions and process improvements.

Collaborate with Engineering Manufacturing Purchasing and other departments to resolve quality and process issues.

Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.

Support continuous improvement efforts designed to improve product quality process efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or relevant certification preferred.

Experience in quality assurance quality control manufacturing engineering support or a related field preferred.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality systems.

Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings specifications BOMs and process documentation.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality/documentation systems.

Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
