Quality Assurance Inspector

Job Summary
Your day may include:
- Inspecting manufactured parts tools and components using blueprints engineered drawings sketches and specifications.
- Verifying dimensions alignments clearances and other print requirements.
- Using precision measuring equipment includingcalipers micrometers drop micrometers gauge blocks/pins indicators comparators and other inspection tools.
- Determining the best inspection method and proper measuring equipment for each part.
- Using or learning equipment such asCMMs vision systems and contour tracers.
- Identifying and documenting parts that do not meet specifications through Nonconformance Reports (NCRs).
- Working with Manufacturing Engineering Sales and other Quality team members to resolve questions or quality concerns.
- Completing inspection documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Helping keep production moving without sacrificing quality or accuracy.
- Participating in training cross-training and continuous improvement efforts.
What We Are Looking For:
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong basic math skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new technology and systems.
- Ability to understand and apply technical information.
- Dependability and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
Direct Quality Assurance experience is not required.If you have the right mechanical aptitude manufacturing knowledge and willingness to learn we encourage you to apply.
Even Better if You Have:
- Manufacturing or machining experience.
- Experience reading blueprints or engineered drawings.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment.
- Quality inspection or Quality Assurance experience.
- Tool & die experience or experience in a related skilled trade.
- Education or training in Quality Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
