Help Build the Precision Behind Aerospace Innovation

At RBC AeroStructures quality isnt just a department its what keeps aircraft flying safely around the world. Were looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector who takes pride in precision problem-solving and ensuring every part meets the highest standards.

What Youll Do

As our Quality Assurance Inspector youll be responsible for ensuring products meet customer engineering and regulatory requirements through inspection measurement and documentation activities.

Ideal Candidate

Someone with quality inspection experience who enjoys working on the production floor using precision measuring equipment reviewing drawings and ensuring compliance with customer requirements. This is an inspector-level position and is not an engineering or senior-level quality role.

Key Responsibilities

â Manage and maintain the gage calibration system

â Perform first-piece in-process and final inspections

â Use precision measuring instruments including micrometers calipers height gages and related inspection equipment

â Read and interpret engineering drawings blueprints and manufacturing routers

â Identify and communicate quality concerns nonconforming materials and process issues

â Complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and maintain accurate quality documentation

â Support customer audits and interact professionally with customer representatives

â Assist with troubleshooting quality-related issues and continuous improvement efforts

â Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment

What Were Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of quality inspection experience
  • Experience managing and maintaining calibration systems
  • Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills
  • Proficiency using inspection and measuring equipment
  • Strong math skills and attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to meet vision requirements and work safely in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications

â Aerospace manufacturing experience

â CMM experience

â Associate degree in a related field

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand walk bend kneel crouch and work on concrete flooring throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift push or pull up to 35 pounds independently
  • Ability to perform inspections requiring close visual attention and accurate measurements
