Position Details:
Role: Quality Analyst - Mobile
Location: Houston Texas (Onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end QA activities across multiple simultaneous projects ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
- Perform functional regression integration and exploration across web desktop mobile and API layers.
- Conduct comprehensive API testing using tools such as Postman REST Assured or SoapUI (REST/SOAP services).
- Execute and manage mobile application testing on iOS and Android platforms including device farms.
- Define track and report QA metrics present status to stakeholders and leadership regularly.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and conduct peer reviews of test cases and automation scripts.
- Partner with product owners developers and business analysts to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Identify process gaps recommend improvements and enforce QA best practices across teams.
- Manage defect lifecycle end-to-end using JIRA Azure or equivalent tools.
Required Skills & Tools
Must have: Mobile App Testing API Testing JIRA SQL Agile / Scrum SDLC & STLC
Nice to have: UFT Tosca Epic EMR and Selenium
Qualification:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or IT related field.
- 8 years of hands-on QA experience
- Proven multi-project management skills
- ISTQB certification preferred
- Epic certification is a strong plus
- Experience in healthcare IT domain preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Skilled at prioritizing in high-pressure multi-deadline environments
