Qualitative Research Associate, International Development

• Assist project teams in compiling and synthesizing information including conducting literature reviews and policy scans.
• Prepare and assist with primary data collection activities including interviews focus groups and surveys; organize research materials; and contribute to content development.
• Participate in the collection review and organization of research and evaluation data.
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data and contribute to the interpretation and reporting of findings.
• Prepare documents report sections briefs charts and graphs that describe and interpret research findings.
• Support proposal writing and business development activities.
• Support project management activities including developing project timelines coordinating meetings and tracking project progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree with 2 years of experience or a Masters degree in the social sciences or related fields.
• Experience conducting qualitative data collection.
• Experience using qualitative data analysis software programs (e.g. NVivo MAXQDA Dedoose).
• Experience working in other countries.

• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in data collection and report writing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate efficiently in a virtual work environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in language(s) other than English.
