Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education Child Development or a related field.
- Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or equivalent when applicable.
- Current Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Completion of all OCFS-required health and safety training.
- Ability to communicate effectively with children families and staff.
- Maintain a safe nurturing and engaging classroom.
- Demonstrate professionalism and reliability.
- Foster positive relationships with children families and colleagues.
- Support the centers mission philosophy and commitment to high-quality early childhood education.
- Attend staff meetings trainings and professional development.
- Collaborate with assistant teachers and other staff.
- Maintain compliance with regulations center policies and licensing standards.
- Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
- Model professionalism teamwork and ethical conduct.
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities based on childrens interests and developmental needs.
