Job Summary

Universal Mental Health Services Inc. is seeking a compassionate and organized Qualified Professional (QP) to coordinate and monitor services for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the New Bern this role you will help individuals and families access person-centered support maintain continuity of care and achieve meaningful goals in their communities.

What Youll Do
  • Coordinate and monitor individualized services for children and adults with IDD.
  • Serve as a liaison among individuals families team members and service providers.
  • Support person-centered planning personal goals and community integration.
  • Help ensure services meet established quality and compliance standards.
  • Maintain timely accurate documentation service records and reports.
  • Use strong communication organization and computer skills to manage daily responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in a human services-related field and at least 2 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities; or
  • Bachelors degree in a non-related field and at least 4 years of relevant IDD experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and computer skills.
  • A genuine commitment to serving individuals with disabilities.
Job Details
  • Employment type: Full-time
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday; occasional weekends may be required
  • Work location: On-site in New Bern North Carolina
