This role is part of Alcons Quality & Regulatory Affairs function a team that ensures our products are in compliance with global local and internal regulations and meet the strictest standards of quality as we help people see brilliantly.

As a QC Microbiology Investigator supporting our QC Analysis and Testing Service Team you will be trusted to independently lead and troubleshoot microbiology investigations at ASPEX Facility in Fort Worth Texas US.

Specifics include:

• Drive deviation investigations to true root cause using root cause analysis tools
• Identify and implement effective CAPAs to prevent reoccurrence.
• Complete investigation summaries
• Analyze and/or review technical data for finished products raw materials in-process materials release test samples or stability samples in compliance with company standards and governmental regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with other functional departments to meet site key objectives (On-Time Release Key Projects etc).
• Participate in continuous improvement activities looking to pursue laboratory best practice and offer appropriate feedback when nonvalue added activities are observed.
• Effectively multi-task and drive investigation closures to target timelines.
• Assist with chemistry investigations as needed.
• Perform process equipment alarm deviations and mitigations.

What Youll Bring to Alcon

• Bachelors Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school 8 yrs; Assoc.4 yrs)
• The ability to fluently read write understand and communicate in English
• Work Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00am 5:00pm
• Travel Requirements: 0-10%
• Work Location: Onsite Fort Worth TX (ASPEX)
