QC Lab Tech

What you will do:

• Play a key role in laboratory functions such as DNA extraction RNA extraction PCR qPCR capillarysequencingand Next Generation Sequencing
• Generate clear and concise technical reports
• Execute experimental strategy developed by manager
• Interact with senior laboratory personnel to review progress and present results
• Maintain laboratory cleaningmaintenanceand safety per SOPs.
• Revise and update SOPs as needed
• Follow establishedcompany SOP and ISOquality and environmental management systems related requirements

What you need to bring:

• BS or MSdegree in a life science area
• 2 yearspreviousmolecular biologylaboratory or equivalent experience
• Experienceor knowledge of workflows with DNA & RNA extraction PCR qPCR and NGS
• Must be able to obtain full face respirator certification upon hire follow all laboratory safetyprotocols andmaintaina clean and safe work environmentin accordance withSOPsand ISO quality/environmental management systems
• Able to lift 30lbsandoccassionallystand forlong periodsof time
