Job Description

We are looking for a QA Test Automation Engineer to design develop and maintain automated testing solutions while ensuring the quality reliability and performance of software applications.

What Youll Do

• Design develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional regression and integration testing
• Collaborate with developers business analysts and QA team members to understand requirements and translate them into test cases
• Execute automated and manual test cycles document results and log defects in the tracking system
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot test failures
• Participate in sprint planning story refinement daily standups and other Agile team activities
• Maintain test documentation including test plans test cases and traceability records
• Report test coverage testing outcomes and quality metrics to project leadership
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to testing processes and quality assurance standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve testing issues while working closely with development teams

What Youll Need

Required:

• Specific test automation tools and framework requirements by Copado Robotics
• 3 to 5 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test automation
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks
• Experience developing automated test scripts for functional regression and integration testing
• Working knowledge of scripting or programming languages used for test automation
• Experience with defect tracking and test case management tools
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies
• Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work onsite in Delaware as required by the client

Preferred:

• Experience testing robotics embedded systems or hardware-integrated software
• Experience with CI/CD tools and automated deployment pipelines
• Experience with version control systems
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field or equivalent professional experience
• Experience with tools such as Selenium Playwright Cypress or similar automation frameworks

Physical Demands

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal state and local standards
• Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings etc
• Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer utilizing a mouse keyboard and monitor
