Role QA Automation Lead

Location: Atlanta GA

Primary Skills : Oneshield and Automation exp with P&C better if candidate worked with Hiscox client in past.

• Lead the test plans strategies and methodologies for testing rate calculation functionalities within P&C insurance software applications - OneShield and Earnix
• Define testing scope objectives and timelines in alignment with project requirements and business goals.
• Perform both manual and automated testing of rate calculation functionalities including verifying rate tables rating algorithms and premium calculations.
• Develop execute and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks to streamline testing efforts.
• Collaborate with business analysts product owners and developers to analyze rate calculation requirements rate manuals underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Identify test scenarios and ensure comprehensive test coverage to validate rate calculation logic.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders including business analysts product owners developers and project managers.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior members of the QA team including mentoring on testing best practices methodologies and tools.
• Ability to lead the development of comprehensive test plans strategies and methodologies for testing rate calculation functionalities within P&C insurance software applications.
• Strong understanding of P&C insurance including both Personal Lines and Commercial Lines.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
• Solid knowledge of test management tools such as Jira and Xray
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a keen diligence.
• Experience working in Agile environment following Onsite Offshore mode.
• Mentor junior performance team members providing guidance support and technical expertise to help them grow and develop in their roles.
• Basic understanding of Python scripting
• Experience in AI assisted Quality Assurance
