Job Description:
Role will work closely with developers product owners SMEs and other stakeholders. Will define implement and execute test strategies throughout the development lifecycle always with an eye towards UX
Responsibilities:
- Test Planning and Design: Collaborate with the team to create comprehensive test plans and test cases that cover functional regression performance and API testing requirements.
- Test Execution: Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects and ensure software functionality meets acceptance criteria.
- Defect Reporting and Tracking: Utilizing Jira to document and report defects in a clear and concise manner track their resolution and verify fixes.
- Agile Participation: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning daily stand-ups retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Test Automation: Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts to improve efficiency and test coverage.
- Quality Advocacy: Promote a culture of quality within the team and organization by championing quality practices and standards.
Qualifications:
- Strong team player with good collaboration skills for tight knit QA degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience in software testing in an Agile environment.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (e.g. black-box white-box regression integration performance).
- Experience with Microsoft Playwright or other modern testing frameworks Cypress etc.
- Strong understanding of APIs and their integration with SPAs.
- Experience working Node Typescript Javascript- Mandatory
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
