Job Summary

This senior-level role serves as a subject matter expert responsible for leading the development compilation approval and execution of procurement training programs (70%) and applying advanced business process improvement principles to design standardized scalable repeatable solutions that enhance procurement capability contract literacy and organizational effectiveness (30%). The role operates with a high degree of autonomy and strategic influence partnering closely with Procurement leadership the internal Enterprise Learning & Development (EL&D) team and Procurement stakeholders to deliver structured enterprise-aligned training programs and resolve pain points. The role will translate procurement policies contract frameworks and best practices into practical accessible learning experiences and process documentation that improve performance and reduce contractual and operational risk. Note: Procurement wants to focus on practical application and action-heavy training not lecture-based formats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a senior subject matter expert responsible for leading the development compilation approval and execution of procurement training programs (70%) and applying advanced business process improvement principles to design standardized scalable repeatable solutions that enhance procurement capability contract literacy and organizational effectiveness (30%).
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy and strategic influence; partner closely with Procurement leadership the internal Enterprise Learning & Development (EL&D) team and Procurement stakeholders to deliver structured enterprise-aligned training programs and resolve pain points.
  • Translate procurement policies contract frameworks and best practices into practical accessible learning experiences and process documentation that improve performance and reduce contractual and operational risk.
Required Skills
  • Extensive experience in procurement contract management or business process improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver training programs in complex cross-functional environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of contract terms procurement processes and supplier negotiation dynamics.
  • Proven experience collaborating with Legal and Learning & Development teams.
  • Expertise in translating complex subject matter into clear structured and actionable training content.
  • Strong project management skills including planning stakeholder coordination and tracking execution.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in utility regulated or large enterprise procurement environments.
  • Experience developing training for procurement agents or contract professionals.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills with ability to influence at multiple organizational levels.
Education Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree required.
Required Experience
  • 10 or more years of Procurement experience.
