Responsibilities

• Inspect troubleshoot repair and rebuild pumps and related equipment

• Disassemble clean inspect and reassemble mechanical components

• Perform routine maintenance and testing to ensure equipment operates efficiently

• Identify worn or damaged parts and recommend repairs or replacements

• Maintain accurate service and repair records

• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean organized work area

• Assist with additional shop duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required

• Previous mechanical pump repair or industrial maintenance experience preferred

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Experience using hand tools power tools and measuring equipment

• Ability to read basic technical drawings or repair manuals preferred

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a shop environment

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Reliable dependable and able to work independently and as part of a team
